Lindsay and Lyle {Married!}

All of these words and more describe Lindsay and Lyle. Therefore, it seems natural that these words also described the overall feel of their wedding day.

On June 22, I was off to Eau Claire to spend the day with Lindsay and Lyle. On my drive, I smiled remembering our fun fall engagement photo session, complete with pumpkins and caramel apples. I couldn't wait to capture their summer wedding day in EC! Eau Claire always will hold a special place in my heart as I spent 6 years there for undergraduate and graduate school :).

I hit the ground running as soon as I stepped inside of the Masonic Ballroom and had the most amazing day. I had been to the Masonic Ballroom once before for a friend's wedding; however, on this day I was able to venture around and see all of the rooms and their unique style. I absolutely adore old buildings and seeing their character, but even more-so envisioning past stories that have been written within their walls. On this day, I had the opportunity and privilege to help capture Lindsay and Lyle's story.

I think the photos truly speak for themselves as to how beautiful the entire day was. Lindsay, you made the most stunning bride! I know Lyle felt it too, as I watched the pure emotion on his face as your dad walked you down the aisle. In that exact moment, I witnessed the kind of love that is so sweet, so gentle, and so real.

I loved spending the entire day with Lindsay and Lyle and their family and friends. First, I should mention that I always get such a kick out of the groomsmen. Let me tell you, these guys didn't disappoint with their jokes and camaraderie! Also, remember when I mentioned sweet and kindhearted? Lindsay and her bridesmaids encompassed all of this and more! I adored them!

Outside of the bridal party and all of the amazing wedding day moments, I also had the privilege of talking with Lindsay's mom that day. I was so grateful for my brief interactions with her, and I can clearly see where Lindsay gets her kindhearted and caring soul from! In the getting ready room, and as I was saying goodbye for the night, Lindsay's mom shared with me that she knew I had a servant heart from the first few minutes she met me. She wasn't surprised to learn that I was also an educator (herself being a school counselor). She said "I can see that!" This gave my heart all of the feels. Spending my day with others to help serve them, support them, and in this instance, being a part of a day that poured out such sweet and real, kindhearted love, was so incredibly rewarding for me.

Thank you Lindsay and Lyle for being the amazing individuals that you are and congratulations again!!
