Ellen and Jordan {Married!}

Rain was in the forecast. I threw on my rain jacket and put 7 clear umbrellas in my trunk before jumping in the car to Stevens Point for Ellen and Jordan's wedding day! As I arrived in Stevens Point, Scotty McCreery's song "This Is It" started playing on the radio. I turned up the volume, and yep, I definitely started singing along :) Now you're walking down the aisle

And I can't help but smile

This is it, this is now, it's what I've been talking about

Looking out, I can see forever....

...Surrounded by our family and our friends

If there ever was a time for a perfect kiss

This is it

As these lyrics played, I had the biggest smile on my face. I'm such a sucker for music and meaningful, real, connected song lyrics. I knew in the next few hours I would witness Ellen walk down the aisle towards Jordan and hear their vows that they wrote for one another. Surrounded by their family and their friends...I was about to be a part of there "This is it."

From the moment I arrived at the church, I had such an amazing day! Following the ceremony, we went to Iverson Park in Stevens Point to take photos with the wedding party and the newlyweds! I didn't even need to carry around the 7 huge clear umbrellas; the rain held off and it was beautiful weather for photos. Jordan, Ellen, and I joked that we'd rather have it a little cooler (ok, there was a slight mist) than a 90 degree day like we had for their engagement session! Let me stop here and also mention how great the bridal party was. The groomsmen: hilarious. I couldn't stop laughing at their jokes from behind the camera.

We arrived at SentryWorld for the reception; which was absolutely stunning. Dinner was delicious, filled with heartfelt speeches. I lost it (laughing...not crying ;) ) when the Best Man began his speech quoting The Office. In lieu of clinking glasses, guests were invited to the microphone to sing Disney songs. The groomsmen kicked that off strong with the beginning of the Lion King followed by the adorable flower girls making multiple debuts! Let's just say, the night left everyone thoroughly entertained with donuts and dancing (whether guests themselves danced or sat back to watch Jordan's mad dance moves during the garter toss).

Ellen and Jordan - congratulations! Thank you for letting me be a part of your most amazing day!! I hope throughout the day you were able to steal a few moments with one another, looking around, surrounded by your family and friends, and realize, together... that if there ever was a time for a perfect kiss, this is it.
